Those who know me know I love to travel, and I love good food! No doubts, my trip to Italy was the perfect excuse to make some amazing culinary discoveries!

Here are some places I fell in love with :
Venice
Way too touristy, I know, but you still have to go visit those two classics :

Harry’s Bar : around since 1931, the place is well known to have been a favorite of Hemmingway, and also for its invention of the Bellini, delicious drink of peach puree and Prosseco…Cheers!

Café Florian
Oldest cafe in Italy ( 1720), I love to go there early in the morning, when Piazza San Marco is still a bit under water. Old china, classic decor, perfect scones and lattes..

Florence -Trattoria Armando
Nice discovery away from the tourist parts of town, a small family trattoria where absolutely everything taste good. Close to the teatro Comunale, great dancers and performers have made it their neiborhood restaurant. If its good for Baryshnikov, it certainly is good for me!

Bologne -Drogheria della Rosa
This little gem is hard to find but worth the effort! My favorite place on this trip, for the food, and the people. As soon as you get there, the very colorfull chef, Emanuele Adonne, welcomes you, recites the menu, have a drink with you, and makes you enjoy the most delicious, even if simple, dishes. I never thought pasta bolognese could be so amazing!

Rome- Casa Bleve
Hard to feel more in Rome than you will in this classic decor. Casa Bleve is chic but not snob. Sure, it is a little pricey, but everything is just perfect! I will never go to Rome without a visit there!
